Lillie B’s House is an anchor and a beacon for Black and Brown creatives. We are a spirit-infused sanctuary where process is honored over product, and community is rooted in ancestral care. We are an investment in cultural equity, creative care, and the enduring legacy of Black and Brown artistic voices.
Our Goal:
The Founder's Fund
Your partnership is an investment that will directly support the sustainable launch and growth of our core programs. **Our immediate goal is to raise a total of $25,588. This Founder's Fund is broken into two critical needs:
Lillie B's House General Operations: This closes our Year 1 funding gap and allows us to expand our signature generative residency program, increase our capacity to host more artists, and fully fund our fellowship program for Black female-identifying, Black Trans, nonbinary, and queer identifying artists of color; and artists who work in the literary, ecological, contemplative/healing, and digital arts.
Sankofa Sol Arts (SSAIC) Fund): This will fund our collective's travel to the American Folklife Center- Library of Congress in March 2026 to perform our award-winning work, "The Nanny Project: You Can’t Overlove Anything," preserving these vital stories in our nation's most important archive.
